Slowly planning the next release

So, plans of an upcoming release is taking form. While we do have material for a new album, we feel more like releasing an EP first. So, that’s what’s in the pipeline. Plan is: 3-4 new tracks, 3 remixes from bands we appreciate what they do and that we think can do good remixes, plus it’d be nice with a couple of the old style “extended versions” of a couple of the tracks as well, made by ourselves. We’ll see what will finally be on the CD (yes, it won’t be just digital). As for the timeframe it’s impossible to say, but the very earliest this could see a release is November, but most probably even later – these things takes time, and it all depends on how long every step of the process takes including the work of the remixers. We’ll keep you informed!

First vocal recording in 13 years

So, tomorrow Johan will record vocals for the first time in 13 years, let’s give him an applaud in advance! It’s for a track with the working title “Wreckage” – yeah, it’s a cheerful one. As for myself I’m at the local depressing joint finalizing the lyrics to “Creep” – I think I’m onto something, or it’s just the beers talking. :)

First taste of what we’re working on

So, we decided to put up a little snippet of one of the tracks we’re working on. This is in no way to be taken as a finished track or anything – it’s not produced or mixed properly at all – it’s just one of many sketches we’re working on – this one is definately beginning to take form. But as the creative process has its way, a lot of stuff is bound to change on the way til the track is finished. So, take it for what it is – a very rough instrumental demo snippet. Hope you like it – first thing out of the Seven Trees factory since 2001!
